• Biotouch is ennvironmentally friendly, which means it has a much faster organic break down compared to regular nitrile, which can take over 100 years.

• The technology means the biodegradation process only starts when disposed of in an active landfill environment.  The nitrile has an additive that attracts microbes that essentially eat away at the glove, 90% degradation in 490 days.  To give you a comparison, a polythene glove degrades 0% after 490 days and a normal nitrile glove degrades less than 1%.   

  Here’s the clever part - the additive is only activated under landfill conditions, (the presence of heat and moisture in a closed environment) meaning that the shelf life on the gloves is a normal shelf life and the gloves won’t start to degrade in the boxes.
